From its very beginning, the Virginia Turfgrass Council has been closely tied toVirginia Tech. The VTC was founded in 1960 when several Tech professors and industry representatives decided a trade association was needed. The relationship makes sense because Virginia Tech is the Land Grant University that specializes in turfgrass research. Work done by Virginia Tech professors helps all of us in the turf industry.
